Shapeoko Spoilboard System
I have created what I feel to be the best spoil board option for the Shapeoko CNC.
This is adapted from my original design which I use for the Onefinity CNC. The measurements are quite similar so the conversion was not difficult. I dont own a Shapeoko currently, so the front left corner bracket may require slight tweaking.
When I created this system I wanted just that, OPTIONS.
Sometimes you need T track for use with clamps to quickly hold something down.
Other times one might prefer more surface mount options like the oops clamps, used through the threaded insert option.
One might also just prefer the quick and easy bench dog to square up an item in one direction (or more).
I've created the system to utilize countless options for securing your workpiece to the spoil board. The choices are limitless.
The corner bracket allows full use of the Bitzero Touch probe, as does the L bracket (which can be mounted in to ANY set of threaded inserts).
The threaded insert spacing is such that the distances between holes are maintained even across the T-Track.
I have included L bracket, Straight Bracket, Cam Clamps (3 sizes), Multi Bracket, and the Sacrificial Board files (quarter board and single).
Thank you for your interest in my Shapeoko Spoil Board system. I know you will find it as useful as I do.
